back to work
there's fireworks everynight where i stayed at, filipinos just love to have the feista mood and celebrate anything and everything, thus the fireworks every now and then, even at the residential areas
i visited a friend who actually lives in the squatter areas, it's a long story how i got to know her... anyways, according to her, her "house" is slightly "higher class" than the regular squatter housing.. if there's such a thing.. anyways, she didn't like me to take pictures of her little humble abode.. it looks really bad on the outside, with zinc boards, ply wood planks, plastic coverings as windows etc. and the air there wasn't very fresh, but on the inside.. woah.. she has a panasonic dvd player, a 36" sharp tv, a sony stereo system, vcr player, a microwave, mid-sized refrigerator, a little stove, and a cooler fan! this picture was taken on the way up the hill to visit her and bring us all out for a nice dinner out, this dude was zigzagging throughout the way uphill, taking up the entire road, disregarding our driver's honkings... just another day on the road there...
my beloved digital camera which i've had for the past 2 years was stolen whilst in laguna! :( which may explain why there's unintentionally more depressing photos than the paradise resorts... b's my sweet angel... he's getting me a new one this weekend *hugs*
so anyways, fortunately... i had already prepared half of my forestprints surprise before i left! more to come! ;D

I think they can speak spanish in Filipinas, don´t they? It must be beautiful there, although it´s a shame they are so poor...
Hey, the new shop items rock: gorgeous fabrics!
oh yes! tagalog actually consists of quite a number of spanish words, cos of the spanish colonial times before..
philippines is very beautiful, especially their springs, mountains, volcanos, beaches... yeah.. it amazes me that my richest friend there owns 20 cars.. and my poorest friend has plastic bags for curtains... L.I.F.E.
