ah hua

so, sha gave birth to a most adorable litter of 4 kitties few weeks ago. i'm bad, i love only ah hua... he's THE cutest! he's the only show-off kitty who loves doing odd and crazy things... anyways, you'll see why i love my ah hua so very much from these crappy photos taken with my cellphone... not enough light indoors... :p

not slacking off...

i've been pre-occupied with so many things in addition to managing forestprints and handling sales, that i've had less than 5 hours of sleep per day for the past 8 days... and counting...

1) moving... torture 1... half-fucked... i'm still not done yet... so unbelievable...
2) unpacking... torture 2... obviously not done yet...
3) cleaning...
4) taking photographs of new products...
5) and editing them... uurrgghhh... so overdue!!!
6) wholesale orders... which will never be done unless my new sewing machine arrives?!?! #$%#& overdue number 2!!!
7) getting my address changed... uurrgghhh
8) website promotion plans... ads... overdue number 3!!!
9) consignment stuff...
10) pay rent... inqbox... don't forget!!!
11) finish up 5 half-done pouches... where's my bloody sewing machine?!?!?!? overdue number 4!!!
12) website updates... i just received ann marie's fabulous photos! woohoo!! the only highlight of this whole torturous week... will be uploading them to the site, so do go and check them out people!!

... ok i think i'm drifting off and including tasks that NEED to be done... so i shall stop here... and play with ah hua abit more before i mail out orders and return to my previous apt to MOVE MORE SHIT... sigh...

postcard swap

i've just mailed out all 10 postcards which i've made for the postcard swap, in the midst of all the madness of moving and packing and unpacking... phew! i just hope that i haven't mixed anything up or written any addresses wrongly... i've checked and rechecked to make sure... i needed to mail them out earlier than the stated date 30th april, thought it would be wise since i didn't want to lose them or ruin them in all this mess... it's the first time i'm sending out so many postcards at one go! how fun is that! :D and... i've made them all different! ;) hope they're nice enough to make my postcard swap receivers happy... can't wait to get mine!!

i'm moving... and it's all crazy!! all my things are all over the house now, and it's freaking dusty, and i've like a gazillion things! arrgghhh! ... luckily i love my new home and bedroom... so it's not all that sucky...

so... enough of complaning and whining... the important thing is... i won't be able to reply all emails everyday constantly, except the very urgent ones... and i won't be sewing anymore till my new machine comes... i just ruined a new fabric i got with the old machine because stubborn lynda insisted on not waiting and using an old cranky machine... yes... serves me right...

i miss chicago so much... was chatting online for abit with kas who's busy preparing for her first solo art show... i miss the place, the people, everything! i miss going for gallery openings, the art institute, thrift stores!!, the cold, the wind, the concerts, the live bands, the clubs... there's just soo much to do and see all the time! and everyone's nice, chatty, friendly there... even to strangers... i know that chicago actually ranks very very low in the friendly city ratings... but hey... i'm now at a place where one can fall onto the railway tracks and not one goddamn soul on the crowded platform goes to offer help...

mood swings

it's so frustrating to move, pack, clean, work, sew, design, email, pack, do sales, do paper work all the same time!!!!?!

and it doesn't help that this place frustrates me sooo much! correction.. it's the people here who are frustrating me soo much! to mention just one out of the countless irritating moments i've had... i almost wanted to go over and shake this guy that was in the train today... yah, in this famous tiny city, men and women actually do have equal rights, both men and women push and fight for almost everything possible. i'm not saying all men have to be gentlemanly and give way to the ladies... but do you really have to actually do a small run for the empty seat the second it is available, sit down with a smug look on your face, stare right up at the maybe 7 months pregnant lady with shopping bags, and then indifferently whip up your goddamn newspapers and start reading as if you were really an educated and literate person?

i hope it's just pms... maybe ordinarily on other days i'd just think it's funny... and brush all of these off with a "tsk tsk tsk"... maybe...
